About Sally
Sally’s education in fashion began at Aoraki Polytech, under renowned couturier Brian Molenuex of the brand “Molenuex”. There Sally picked up a love of drapery, hand sewing and beading techniques that lead Sally to doing her own custom made-to-measure work for clients over the years, one of the most rewarding experiences she has had. Sally followed this study with a Bachelor of Fashion at Otago Polytechnic and expanded her knowledge of textile art and manipulation.
In 2025 Sally decided to take her passion and excitement for couture sewing and made it into a business starting Sally Corry Atelier, offering custom made couture wedding gown designs to clients.
It has been an absolute dream so far for Sally and she has been lucky to have met some of the most lovely clients who have become friends. Seeing a design develop from initial sketches to becoming an essential part of making a bridal feel resplendent as she had only dreamed of for her wedding day is the most rewarding part for Sally.
“It is a profound privilege to design a bride’s dream wedding gown — to weave her hopes into silk, lace and light, and create a timeless expression of beauty that she will cherish for a lifetime.”
